KENOSHA, Wis. (September 28, 2026) – Centrisys/CNP, a leading North American manufacturer of decanter centrifuges and advanced biosolids treatment technologies, today unveiled its new PPS Polymer Preparation System, a complete, automated polymer preparation and dosing system designed to deliver consistent polymer activation before it ever reaches the sludge.
The technology is already installed at 42 locations globally, providing a field-proven foundation for its introduction to the North American wastewater and biosolids market. Making its official debut at WEFTEC 2026 in Centrisys/CNP’s Booth #829 at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, the PPS Polymer Prep System addresses a critical but often overlooked part of the dewatering process: how polymer is prepared and activated before being introduced to sludge.
“Polymer performance starts before the polymer reaches the sludge,” said Michael Kopper, CEO and Founder of Centrisys/CNP. “When plants experience inconsistent dewatering, changing centrate quality or rising polymer use, the instinct is often to adjust the dose. But adding more polymer doesn’t necessarily address the underlying problem. How that polymer is prepared and activated before it reaches the sludge can have a significant impact on how effectively it performs.”
Polymer can represent 30 to 50 percent of sludge processing costs, making effective preparation an important opportunity for facilities looking to control operating expenses. When polymer is not fully activated, facilities may compensate by increasing the dose, paying for additional chemistry without addressing the source of inconsistent performance.
The PPS Polymer Prep System is engineered around the polymer preparation process itself, controlling the conditions that influence polymer dispersion, maturation and solution consistency.

The PPS Polymer Prep System is available in multiple sizes and can support municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, sludge thickening, centrifuge and decanter dewatering, belt and screw press applications, dissolved air flotation sludge handling, and packaged or mobile treatment systems.
