Plant Meets the Lower Phosphorus Discharge Limits set by the State

Drake Water Reclamation Facility in Fort Collins, Colorado has achieved very low effluent phosphorous limits, below 0.5 mg/L. MagPrex reliably removes more than 90% of orthophosphate from the phosphorous recycle loop going back to the front of the plant. That allows the Drake Water Reclamation Facility to consistently meet the lower phosphorous discharge limits set by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE). Two CS26-4 Centrisys decanter centrifuges are also installed to dewater the solids.
