Municipal Water + Wastewater Treatment

Decanter Centrifuges for Sludge Dewatering  |  Sludge Thickening

Engineered, Designed and Manufactured in the U.S.A.

    Built from the Ground Up

In 1987, the first Centrisys centrifuge was designed and built around what was learned in the field by servicing competitor’s equipment in both municipal and industrial applications.

Based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Centrisys is the only U.S.A. manufacturer of decanter centrifuges for municipal wastewater and one of the few companies in the world focused solely on centrifuge technology. The Centrisys team collaborates together to bring fresh perspectives and continuous learning to tackle the toughest challenges in municipal water and wastewater.

    Lowest Life-Cycle Cost

Centrisys provides the most cost-effective option for owning, operating and maintaining a decanter centrifuge.

    • Higher capacity
    • Increased throughput
    • Drier cake
    • Lower energy consumption
    • Reduced polymer consumption
    • Fewer service requirements
    • More process flexibility

All this equates to costs savings for municipal treatment plants. A Centrisys centrifuge delivers the driest cake at the lowest hp per gpm of flow. These results deliver savings for our customers year after year.

    Reduced Energy Consumption

Centrisys was the first to design decanter centrifuges using the advanced hydraulic back drive as a standard back-drive system. The Viscotherm Rotodiff® back-drive provides the highest torque-to-weight ratio, 100% torque at all speeds and the lowest energy consumption of decanter centrifuges on the market today.

    A Less is More Approach

Centrisys provides the most robust and cost-effective dewatering and thickening solutions to meet the increasing demands for solids management.

    • Lowest measured energy consumption
    • Smaller footprint with an inline design that’s simple, compact and lightweight
    • Simplified process steps
    • Reduced chemical and energy costs
    • Lower cost of ownership
    • Reduced operational, service and maintenance costs
    • Reduced landfill and disposal costs

    A Trusted Partner

It’s our years of dewatering and thickening in municipal markets, along with operating and servicing our competitor’s equipment, that gives Centrisys the advantage in water and wastewater applications. Before we specify one of our standard Centrisys centrifuge models, we want to hear more about your plant's process goals and analyze your sludge. After this, we can determine if one of our standard centrifuge designs or a custom solution will deliver the best results.

It’s our team's based approach to understand the deliverables of each project that brings value to our customers.

“What others think of as a 'special' centrifuge design is not that 'special' for Centrisys. We don’t mass produce centrifuges to make your process fit into one of our standard designs. Sludge is not all the same. It’s important to have customizable solutions to deliver the best results”
