Gerhard Forstner serves as President of CNP - Technology Water and Biosolids, bringing over two decades of experience in taking innovative biosolids processes and equipment to market. His extensive expertise has been instrumental in positioning CNP as a leader in nutrient recovery and sludge optimization solutions, helping municipalities modernize aging wastewater treatment systems that are often three or four decades old.
A native of Austria, Forstner graduated from Kapfenberg Technical College with an Electrical Engineering degree and holds an MBA from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. He began working in wastewater, water, and sludge treatment in 2001, gaining valuable industry knowledge at Huber Technology USA, where he served as an application engineer, project manager, regional sales manager, and eventually President. This progressive career path gave him comprehensive exposure to all aspects of the wastewater treatment business, from technical applications to commercial leadership.
Forstner played a pivotal role as the design-build developer on the Kenosha Energy Optimization Project, where his leadership was a key contributor to the project's success.
